Motorcycle & moped parking in Hounslow
Is motorcycle parking free in Hounslow?
Yes — free, for petrol and electric motorcycles and mopeds alike. A moped parks in the same solo motorcycle bay as a motorbike and pays the same. Free today, and legally re-confirmed by an order in force 17 April 2026 — but Hounslow has already adopted, in its parking strategy, charges of £0.80–£1.20 an hour for motorcycle bays plus new £40 and £258 permits. No start date published. The angle-to-kerb condition is a real ticket risk.
Checked against Hounslow council’s own parking page in August 2026. Councils change these schemes, so the sign at the bay always wins.
